I have all kinds of pretty, vacation related photos to show you.
This makes me think of an old hair stylist who used to hand me stacks of beach-related vacation photos to sort through every time I sat in his chair. In his pictures, he was always surrounded by tan, busty women with fruity drinks and sparkly manicures. No photos of family or interesting places and things. Just Brian and his babes, with a sunset as their backdrop.
I kind of wish I could find him now and retaliate with the pictures posted below.
There are no tan, busty, sparkly women here. Instead, you’ll find some of the unexpected things we saw at Lake Hope this weekend.
I didn't expect Lake Hope to be this gorgeous. What up, Ohio? Woot!
I didn't expect to lose our fishing lines and bobbers to these beauties.
I didn't expect this butterfly to land on my shoe.
I didn't expect to see a giant Civil War-era iron furnace that was used to smelt iron for us Yankees. ::mystified shrug::
Well, I guess I DID expect to see trees.
But I didn't expect to find this Smurf house.
